At the heart of the DXR15mkII is a high-efficiency Class-D amplifier, paired with a custom 15″ low-distortion wooferand a newly upgraded 1.75″ Neodymium compression driver. This new driver is larger yet lighter, delivering extended high-frequency clarity up to 20 kHz—perfect for both speech and full-band reproduction.

Consistent Coverage, Front to Back

A newly designed 90° x 60° constant directivity horn provides wide, uniform dispersion. Unlike typical horns that lose definition off-axis, this design maintains consistent sound quality across the full coverage area—ensuring every listener gets the same mix.

Yamaha’s FIR-X™ tuning uses linear-phase filters and precise time alignment to optimize crossover response, minimize phase issues, and deliver exceptional clarity. • MONITOR: Tames low-frequency buildup for clearer on-stage monitoring.

Flexible Onboard 3-Channel Mixer

The built-in 3-channel mixer supports mic, line, and RCA sources with individual volume controls:

• CH1: Mic/Line combo input with auto HPF when set to mic

• CH2: Line-level combo input

• CH3: RCA stereo input for playback devices

Linking and Thru options make it easy to daisy-chain speakers or run a full setup with just two DXR units.
